Tales From Under A Middle-Aged Colored Woman

I have been sick again and flat on my back reading Mohja Kahf's E-Mails From Scheherazad, Karen Hesse's A Time of Angels, and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.  I hope to be able to do some writing this week as I am feeling much better.

I want to write about sex Sex Sex because I like it and think it is a very important subject.  Ever since I was spammed onto that porn site I have been thinking about what sex means to me.

My little brother told me I was a prude because I don't like watching sex scenes in movies.  Why would I want to watch someone else having sex?  Not for instruction and I don't need to see those staged interactions to get turned on, so it has no purpose for me.  Maybe you can see some of my perspective, but don't assume you know where I'm coming from until I write about it.

Some of the subjects that come to mind when I think about sex are cloning technology, same sex marriage, menopause, puberty, infidelity, fear of women, and unhealthy birth control practices. Do you think about sex too?  You know you do!
